Artist's statement:
"My work focuses primarily on the dynamic interplay between color and texture, using acrylic paint, composition
leaf, found pieces, paper, and fabric on canvas, board and paper. I also produce encaustic monotypes on hand made paper from Nepal or India. Each piece is an ongoing visual diary of thoughts, memories, and sketches, not only of the great natural beauty of my immediate environment, but also that of other places I have visited. A magic mixture of sun and shadow, land and water, architecture, sacred elements, and a diversity of cultures have given me a great wealth of inspiration from which I produce my art."
